Senior System Engineer

Functie

Within the department Infrastructure Services, we are currently looking for a Senior System Engineer.   As experienced engineer you will be involved in a variety of projects, either within the Back-End Core Services team of our Service Delivery Center (SDC) in Brussels (Evere), or within a client environment.

You will work in a self-supportive way as well as within multidisciplinary teams, and in projects involving design, installation and configuration, or migration and management of network infrastructures.

Depending on your knowledge, experience and interests your main tasks may involve execution as well as design or advising/counseling.

Profiel

You have preferably a Bachelor in IT (or at least 5 years of equivalent experience in IT), and have acquired a broad practical experience in IT Infrastructure, with a main focus in at least two of the following orientations:

• Network / Security management and technologies (Cisco, Checkpoint)
• Microsoft technologies
• Open Source products
• Database administration and technologies (SQL Server, Oracle).

An official certification is certainly an advantage.

Your technical knowledge is important to us, but will ensure, in combination with your excellent communication skills, initative-taking, flexible approach, and service orientation, to gain the trust of both our teams and clients.  

You are enthusiastic, client-oriented and committed to delivering a high quality service.  

You can express yourself fluently in English, French and Dutch.
